Salutations! I’m Sofia.
I've lived most of my life in the Bay Area, California, where I studied acting at Oakland School for the Arts. I am currently based in NYC, where I am a junior Drama major at NYU. I completed my primary training at Stella Adler School of Acting and am now studying at Atlantic Acting School.
As a child, I first got in touch with my creativity through handcrafts and embroidery. As an actress, I continue to be drawn towards material that feels intricate, intentional, intimate, and vivid. I want to tell stories of extraordinary human connection.
When I’m not rehearsing, I’m likely re-reading a Sally Rooney book, catching a movie at the Angelika, or trying to make friends with a bodega cat. I'm pleased to meet you and hope we can grab a cup of coffee (And when I say coffee, I mean a chai tea latte).
